Nobody learns this on their own. Out in the water we look after each other — that is how I was taught, and it is how I teach.

About

Hi, I'm Kwezi.

I grew up surfing around Muizenberg and I've been teaching here for 15 years. Every lesson is with me, start to finish. We go through the basics on the sand, then get you standing up in the whitewash at your own pace. Small groups, patient coaching, and a real feel for the ocean before you do it alone.

Lessons

Board and wetsuit are hired separately from Lifestyle Surf Shop. Classes run at 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 3:30pm.

How booking works

    Message on WhatsApp

    Tap the button and your message is filled in. Add the date, how many people, and your level.

  2. 02

    Make the plan

    Classes run at 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 3:30pm. Tell me which one suits and we'll sort out the details.

  3. 03

    Pay the deposit

    A 50% deposit confirms your lesson and holds the slot. I'll send you the details on WhatsApp once we've settled on a time.

  4. 04

    Meet at the beach

    We meet at Lifestyle Surf Shop in Muizenberg — hire your board and wetsuit there, bring a towel and sunscreen, and we go.
